Short Bio
Visual artist Jennifer Mygatt Tatum's work is about the insite gained through solitude in nature. She conveys this using a diverse crossover of mediums.
Statement
My recent work is best known for interpreting my Wandering Women motif through mediums of metal, paint, print and mosaic.
The work is less specifically about “women” as it is the world around and within the human experience interpreted through the lines of the the muse of the Wandering Women. I utilize the materials on hand that speak best to express the interpretation of seeds of ideas awakened while walking in the forest. My work is about the insite and perspective gained through solitude in nature. It is about how this time and texture reveals itself and aligns us to our innate inner wisdom.
